Our Mission

Empowering Global Communication Through Excellence in English Studies

EIL students in a collaborative setting

The English as an International Language (EIL) Program, established in 2001, is Thailand's leading center for the scientific study and application of English in global contexts. We recognize English as the world's primary medium for international discourse, research, and collaboration.

In an increasingly interconnected world, effective cross-cultural communication is vital. Our program equips scholars with a deep understanding of both the linguistic intricacies and cultural dimensions of English as it is used across diverse international settings. Through an interdisciplinary framework, we prepare graduates to navigate the complex dynamics of English as a bridge between communities, a vehicle for knowledge exchange, and a catalyst for global cooperation.

The EIL Program is uniquely positioned in Thailand—where English serves as the cornerstone of educational advancement and professional opportunity—to cultivate leaders who can shape how English functions as a tool for international understanding and collaboration. Through rigorous academic training and practical application, we prepare scholars who not only excel in English studies but also contribute meaningfully to its evolving role in our interconnected world.
